Explanation :
God wants you to know that disbelief is surprising when you have clear guidance. This verse addresses the people who received God’s message through the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It reminds them that the truth is evident because the divine words are being shared with them directly. The presence of the Prophet, a living example of God’s guidance, makes it even harder to turn away from faith. The verse questions how anyone could reject belief when such clear signs are available, urging people to reflect on the blessings of divine guidance.
The second part of the verse emphasizes holding firmly to God. God wants you to know that clinging to His guidance is the key to staying on the right path. This means trusting in God’s commands, following His rules, and seeking His help in all matters. The “straight path” refers to a life of righteousness, free from confusion or deviation. It’s a promise that those who stay connected to God will find clarity and purpose, no matter the challenges they face. This path leads to peace in this life and success in the hereafter.
God wants you to know that faith requires effort and commitment. The verse encourages believers to stay steadfast, especially in difficult times. By holding onto God’s guidance, you protect yourself from doubts and distractions. This message is timeless, reminding us today to stay connected to faith through prayer, reflection, and good deeds. It’s a call to trust God’s wisdom and follow the example of the Prophet to live a life of truth and purpose.
Verse 102
Arabic:
ŁَŁٰٓŲ£َŁُّŁَŲ§ ٱŁَّŲ°ِŁŁَ Ų”َŲ§Ł َŁُŁŲ§۟ ٱتَّŁُŁŲ§۟ Ł±ŁŁَّŁَ ŲَŁَّ ŲŖُŁَŲ§ŲŖِŁِŪ¦ ŁَŁَŲ§ ŲŖَŁ ُŁŲŖُŁَّ Ų„ِŁَّŲ§ ŁَŲ£َŁŲŖُŁ Ł ُّŲ³ْŁِŁ ُŁŁَ
Meaning:
O you who believe, fear God as He deserves to be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.
Explanation:
God wants you to know that true faith requires deep respect and awareness of Him. This verse calls on believers to have “taqwa,” which means fearing God by following His commands and avoiding what He forbids. To fear God “as He deserves” means giving your full effort to live righteously, with sincerity and devotion. It’s about being mindful of God in every action, thought, and decision, knowing He sees everything. This verse is a reminder to prioritize faith in all aspects of life.
The instruction to “not die except as Muslims” is a powerful call to stay committed to faith until the end. God wants you to know that life is unpredictable, and death can come at any moment. Therefore, you should live every day as a true Muslim, submitting fully to God’s will. This means maintaining your prayers, being kind, honest, and just, and constantly seeking forgiveness for mistakes. It’s a reminder to stay on the path of Islam so that when death arrives, you are in a state of submission to God.
God wants you to know that living as a Muslim is a lifelong journey. This verse encourages believers to remain steadfast, even when faced with temptations or hardships. It’s a call to check your actions daily and ensure they align with God’s teachings. By doing so, you prepare yourself for a good ending, one where your faith is strong and your heart is at peace. This message inspires us to live with purpose, always striving to please God and stay true to Islam.
Verse 103
Arabic:
ŁَٱعْŲŖَŲµِŁ ُŁŲ§۟ ŲØِŲَŲØْŁِ Ł±ŁŁَّŁِ Ų¬َŁ ِŁŲ¹ًŲ§ ŁَŁَŲ§ ŲŖَŁَŲ±َّŁُŁŲ§۟ ۚ ŁَٱذْŁُŲ±ُŁŲ§۟ ŁِŲ¹ْŁ َŲŖَ Ł±ŁŁَّŁِ Ų¹َŁَŁْŁُŁ ْ Ų„ِŲ°ْ ŁُŁŲŖُŁ ْ Ų£َŲ¹ْŲÆَŲ§ٓŲ”ً ŁَŲ£َŁَّŁَ ŲØَŁْŁَ ŁُŁُŁŲØِŁُŁ ْ ŁَŲ£َŲµْŲØَŲْŲŖُŁ ŲØِŁِŲ¹ْŁ َŲŖِŁِŪ¦ٓ Ų„ِŲ®ْŁَٰŁًŲ§ ŁَŁُŁŲŖُŁ ْ Ų¹َŁَŁٰ Ų“َŁَŲ§ ŲُŁْŲ±َŲ©ٍ Ł ِّŁَ Ł±ŁŁَّŲ§Ų±ِ ŁَŲ£َŁŁَŲ°َŁُŁ Ł ِّŁْŁَŲ§ ۗ ŁَŲ°َٰŁِŁَ ŁُŲØَŁِّŁُ Ł±ŁŁَّŁُ ŁَŁُŁ ْ Ų¢ŁَŲ§ŲŖِŁِŪ¦ ŁَŲ¹َŁَّŁُŁ ْ ŲŖَŁْŲŖَŲÆُŁŁَ
Meaning:
Hold firmly to the rope of God all together and do not be divided. Remember God’s favor upon you when you were enemies, and He united your hearts, so you became brothers by His grace. You were on the edge of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it. Thus, God makes His signs clear to you so that you may be guided.
Explanation :
God wants you to know that unity is a strength for believers. The “rope of God” refers to the Quran and Islam, which bind people together. This verse urges Muslims to stay united and avoid division, as disagreements can weaken the community. By holding onto God’s guidance collectively, believers can support each other and stay strong in faith. Unity is a gift from God, and this verse reminds us to value it.
The verse also recalls how God transformed the hearts of people who were once enemies. God wants you to know that His guidance can heal divisions and create brotherhood. Before Islam, many tribes were in conflict, but God’s message brought them together as a family of faith. This is a reminder of God’s mercy and how His guidance can change lives. The mention of being saved from the “pit of fire” refers to being rescued from a life of sin or destruction, showing how faith offers salvation and purpose.
God wants you to know that His signs are clear for those who reflect. This verse encourages gratitude for God’s blessings, like unity and guidance, and warns against returning to division or disbelief. It’s a call to stay thankful, work together, and follow God’s path to avoid falling into error. Today, this message reminds us to build strong communities, resolve conflicts peacefully, and appreciate the blessings of faith. By staying united and holding onto God’s guidance, we can live with purpose and avoid the pitfalls of division and sin.
Verse 104
Arabic:
ŁَŁْŲŖَŁُŁ Ł ِّŁŁُŁ ْ Ų£ُŁ َّŲ©ٌ ŁَŲÆْŲ¹ُŁŁَ Ų„ِŁَ٠ٱŁْŲ®َŁْŲ±ِ ŁَŁَŲ£ْŁ ُŲ±ُŁŁَ ŲØِٱŁْŁ َŲ¹ْŲ±ُŁŁِ ŁَŁَŁْŁَŁْŁَ Ų¹َŁِ ٱŁْŁ ُŁŁَŲ±ِ ۚ ŁَŲ£ُŁ۟ŁَŁٰٓŲ¦ِŁَ ŁُŁ ُ ٱŁْŁ ُŁْŁِŲُŁŁَ
Meaning:
Let there be a community among you that calls to goodness, encourages what is right, and forbids what is wrong. They are the ones who will succeed.
Explanation :
God wants you to know that believers have a responsibility to promote goodness. This verse calls for a group within the Muslim community to actively invite others to what is good, such as kindness, honesty, and faith. It’s not enough to just believe; you must share and spread positive values. This group sets an example by encouraging righteous actions and gently correcting wrongs, helping society stay on the right path.
The roles of “encouraging what is right” and “forbidding what is wrong” are central to a thriving community. God wants you to know that these actions require wisdom and compassion. Encouraging good means promoting acts like charity, justice, and respect, while forbidding wrong involves advising against harmful behaviors like lying or injustice. This work must be done with sincerity, not judgment, to inspire others to follow God’s guidance. Those who take on this role with care contribute to a better world and please God.
God wants you to know that success comes from fulfilling this duty. The verse promises that those who call to goodness and uphold moral values will prosper, both in this life and the hereafter. This success isn’t just personal but benefits the entire community, creating a society rooted in faith and righteousness. Today, this verse inspires us to speak up for what is right, support each other in doing good, and gently guide others away from harm. By doing so, we build a community that reflects God’s values and earns His blessings, achieving true success.
Verse 105
Arabic:
ŁَŁَŲ§ ŲŖَŁُŁŁُŁŲ§۟ ŁَٱŁَّŲ°ِŁŁَ ŲŖَŁَŲ±َّŁُŁŲ§۟ ŁَٱخْŲŖَŁَŁُŁŲ§۟ Ł ِŁۢ ŲØَŲ¹ْŲÆِ Ł َŲ§ Ų¬َŲ§ٓŲ”َŁُŁ ُ ٱŁْŲØَŁِّŁَŁٰŲŖُ ۚ ŁَŲ£ُŁ۟ŁَŁٰٓŲ¦ِŁَ ŁَŁُŁ ْ Ų¹َŲ°َŲ§ŲØٌ Ų¹َŲøِŁŁ ٌ
Meaning:
Do not be like those who became divided and differed after clear signs came to them. For them is a great punishment.
Explanation :
God wants you to know that division after receiving clear guidance is a serious mistake. This verse warns against following the example of previous communities who, despite having clear signs from God, split into groups and argued over their faith. These divisions often came from pride, misunderstanding, or refusing to accept the truth. The verse reminds believers to stay united and faithful to God’s message to avoid their fate.
The “clear signs” refer to God’s revelations, like scriptures or prophets, which provide undeniable guidance. God wants you to know that ignoring or twisting these signs leads to conflict and straying from the truth. When people prioritize their own opinions over God’s guidance, they create divisions that weaken their faith and community. This verse serves as a warning to reflect on God’s message with humility and avoid disputes that harm the unity of believers. It’s a call to focus on what unites us—faith in God and His teachings.
God wants you to know that division has serious consequences. The “great punishment” mentioned is both in this world, through conflict and loss of guidance, and in the hereafter, where those who knowingly reject the truth face God’s judgment. This verse encourages Muslims today to resolve differences peacefully, seek knowledge, and stay united under God’s guidance. By learning from the mistakes of others, we can avoid division and work together to uphold faith. It’s a reminder to prioritize truth over ego and to build a strong, united community that reflects God’s mercy and wisdom.
