               بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيم

Verse 101

Arabic:

وَكَيْفَ تَكْفُرُونَ وَأَنْتُمْ تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ آيَاتُ ٱللَّهِ وَفِيكُمْ رَسُولُهُ ۗ وَمَن يَعْتَصِم بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدْ هُدِيَ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطٍ مُّسْتَقِيمٍ

Meaning:

How can you disbelieve when God’s verses are recited to you and His Messenger is among you? Whoever holds firmly to God has been guided to a straight path.

Verse 102

Arabic:

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ ٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِۦ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

Meaning:

O you who believe, fear God as He deserves to be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.

Explanation:

God wants you to know that true faith requires deep respect and awareness of Him. This verse calls on believers to have “taqwa,” which means fearing God by following His commands and avoiding what He forbids. To fear God “as He deserves” means giving your full effort to live righteously, with sincerity and devotion. Verse 103

Arabic:

وَٱعْتَصِمُوا۟ بِحَبْلِ ٱللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا۟ ۚ وَٱذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَتَ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إِذْ كُنتُمْ أَعْدَآءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُم بِنِعْمَتِهِۦٓ إِخْوَٰنًا وَكُنتُمْ عَلَىٰ شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِّنَ ٱلنَّارِ فَأَنقَذَكُم مِّنْهَا ۗ كَذَٰلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ ٱللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِۦ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ

Meaning:

Hold firmly to the rope of God all together and do not be divided. Remember God’s favor upon you when you were enemies, and He united your hearts, so you became brothers by His grace. You were on the edge of a pit of fire, and He saved you from it. Thus, God makes His signs clear to you so that you may be guided.

Verse 104

Arabic:

وَلْتَكُن مِّنكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى ٱلْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ ٱلْمُنكَرِ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْمُفْلِحُونَ

Meaning:

Let there be a community among you that calls to goodness, encourages what is right, and forbids what is wrong. They are the ones who will succeed.

This verse calls for a group within the Muslim community to actively invite others to what is good, such as kindness, honesty, and faith. It’s not enough to just believe; you must share and spread positive values. This work must be done with sincerity, not judgment, to inspire others to follow God’s guidance. Those who take on this role with care contribute to a better world and please God.

God wants you to know that success comes from fulfilling this duty. The verse promises that those who call to goodness and uphold moral values will prosper, both in this life and the hereafter. This success isn’t just personal but benefits the entire community, creating a society rooted in faith and righteousness. Verse 105

Arabic:

وَلَا تَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا۟ وَٱخْتَلَفُوا۟ مِنۢ بَعْدِ مَا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتُ ۚ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ

Meaning:

Do not be like those who became divided and differed after clear signs came to them. For them is a great punishment.
