Surah Al Baqrah ( Qur'an )

      بِسۡم ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Verse no 151

kamaaa arsalnaa feekum Rasoolam minkum yatloo ‘alaikum aayaatina wa yuzakkeekum wa yu’alli mukumul kitaaba wal hikmata wa yu’allimukum maa lam takoonoo ta’lamoon

Just as (the Ka'bah is a means to your guidance so,) We have sent to you a great Messenger from among yourselves who recites to you Our Messages and purifies you and teaches you the Book and the Wisdom and teaches you what you did not know.

God wants you to know

Verse No. 152

"Fazkurooneee azkurkum washkuroo lee wa laa takfuroon"  

(Section 18)  

So glorify Me and I will grant you eminence and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me (for My favours to you).

Verse No. 153

"Yaaa ayyuhal laazeena aamanus ta’eenoo bissabri was Salaah; innal laaha ma’as-saabireen"  

O you who believe! Seek (God's) help with perfect patience and Prayer, for surely Allah is with the patiently persevering.

Verse No. 154

"Wa laa taqooloo limai yuqtalu fee sabeelil laahi amwaat; bal ahyaaa’unw wa laakil laa tash’uroon"  

And do not count as dead those who are killed in the cause of Allah. Rather (they are) living, only you perceive not (their life).

Verse No. 155

"Wa lanablu wannakum bishai’im minal khawfi waljoo’i wa naqsim minal amwaali wal anfusi was samaraat; wa bashshiris saabireen"  

And We will certainly reward you (after disciplining you) with something after fear and hunger and some loss of substance and of lives and with fruits (of your toils). Give good tidings to the patiently persevering;
