Verse - 41

Wa aaminoo bimaaa anzaltu musaddiqal limaa ma’akum wa laa takoonooo awwala kaafirim bihee wa laa tashtaroo bi Aayaatee samanan qaleelanw wa iyyaaya fattaqoon

And believe in what I have revealed (now) confirming (the prophecies of the Scripture) which are (already) with you, and do not be the first to deny it, neither take a paltry price for My Messages, and Me alone you should take as a shield (for protection).

God emphasizes the necessity of confidence in the revelations that corroborate the existing scriptures in the 41st verse of Surah Al-Baqarah in the Qur'an. Verse - 42

Wa laa talbisul haqqa bilbaatili wa taktumul haqqa wa antum ta’lamoon

Do not confound the truth with falsehood, nor conceal the truth knowingly.

The 42nd verse of the Qur'an's Surah Al-Baqarah (Chapter 2) encourages believers to maintain truthfulness and avoid combining it with lies. It underlines the necessity of discerning between what is true and what is not, asking people not to purposefully muddy these lines. Verse - 43

Wa aqeemus salaata wa aatuz zakaata warka’oo ma’ar raaki’een

And observe Prayer, present Zakât (- purifying alms) and devote yourselves (to the service of one God) along with those who are wholly devoted (to the service of one God).

Verse - 44

Ataamuroonan naasa bilbirri wa tansawna anfusakum wa antum tatloonal Kitaab; afalaa ta’qiloon

How is it that you enjoin others to do good and neglect your ownselves while you recite the Scripture? Do you not even (after reading the Scripture) abstain (from evils)?

In the 44th verse of the Qur'an's Surah Al-Baqarah, the speaker criticizes individuals who argue for morality while seemingly ignoring their own behavior. The poem challenges the paradox of encouraging others to embrace righteousness while ignoring personal fidelity to the scripture being repeated. The tone is skeptical, emphasizing the significance of practicing what one preaches. Verse - 45

Wasta’eenoo bissabri was Salaah; wa innahaa lakabee ratun illaa alal khaashi’een

Seek (God's) help through perfect perseverance and Prayer, and this is indeed a very hard thing except for those who are humble.

The significance of seeking heavenly assistance via unbroken patience and prayer is emphasized in Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 45. It recognizes that this undertaking is difficult, yet it is attainable for those who exemplify humility.

The poem opens with a request for God's assistance, emphasizing the importance of supernatural assistance in dealing with life's difficulties. The term "perfect perseverance" implies a steady commitment to patience in all situations, signifying resilience and endurance in the face of adversity.

Prayer is provided as an additional means of seeking Divine assistance. The acknowledgement that this work is "indeed a very hard thing" highlights the inherent difficulties in maintaining perfect endurance and persistent commitment in prayer. It acknowledges life's complexities and the challenge in continually embodying these characteristics.

However, the verse provides a ray of hope by noting that those who are humble would be able to do this duty. Humility, a major attribute in Islam, entails acknowledging one's dependence on God and sincerely surrendering to His will. The link between humility and the ability to persevere means that a humble heart is more open to heavenly support and guidance.

Surah Al-Baqarah, verse 45, essentially encourages believers to seek God's help via endurance and prayer, despite the inherent difficulty in doing so. It emphasizes the transformational power of humility, implying that individuals who approach life with humility find strength and support in their spiritual journey.
